The Ducklingos want to see the world and make new friends. A few simple rules keep the adventure fun and safe for everyone.

Found a Ducklingo?

1. Snap a photo of it where you found it.
2. Scan the QR code or visit its page, then enter the sighting code printed on its tag.
3. Tell us where you found it and what you're doing with it.

What happens next is up to you

• Rehide it nearby for the next person to discover.
• Take it somewhere new — ashore, home, or on your next vacation.
• Travel with it for a while.
• Keep it.

Whatever you choose, adding a sighting keeps the flock's story current. If a Ducklingo travels with you again later, you're welcome to add another.

If you rehide one

• Only hide Ducklingos in public spaces where it's okay to leave a small object.
• Never hide one somewhere dangerous, restricted, or where staff would need to remove it.
• Keep the tag attached so the next finder can add their sighting.

Keep it private

• Keep locations general — a ship, a deck, a city, a park. No cabin numbers or home addresses.
• Avoid photos that show faces of people who haven't agreed to be included, especially children.
• Use a first name or family nickname if you want credit. It's optional.

Keep it kind

Every sighting is reviewed before it appears. Anything unkind, unsafe, or unrelated to the Ducklingo won't be published.

Keep the code on the tag

The sighting code lets whoever is holding a Ducklingo add to its story. Please don't post it online — that way only real finders can add sightings.
